Alesa Rose Moskal is a 17 year old singer-songwriter, photographer, and artist.
Alesa was born and raised in Denver, Colorado with an extreme love and passion for art of every kind. She made her stage debut at the young age of 6, as part of the cast of a local theatre organization called Magic Moments. She performs there to this day. She took part in many theatre productions at her elementary school, acquiring countless leads in productions such as Oz! (Dorothy), Peter Pan (Peter Pan), Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing (Beatrice), and many others throughout her young years. Continuing into middle and high school, Alesa dove deeper into theatre. She was cast as Lydia in Magic Moments’ original musical production called A Dark and Stormy Night, making a name for herself locally. She also auditioned for the Denver School of the Arts for theatre and was one of the few students accepted out of hundreds of applications. There, she was educated on the importance and history of theatre, as well as techniques and appreciation for the art. She was then cast as Adella the Mersister in The Little Mermaid. However, after 3 years of attending DSA she left for a normal high school experience, where she then starred as Grandmother Tzeitel in the musical Fiddler on the Roof and as the Landlady in the play 1984, based off of George Orwell's novel of the same name. However, it was then she decided she wanted to pursue a career in music. Alesa has always been captivated by music of all kinds. Some of her many inspirations are rock artists Def Leppard and David Bowie, country-pop star Taylor Swift, all the way to rising artists such as Cozi Zuehlsdorff and Brennley Brown. Alesa began her career in music when she took part in her school’s talent show in 5th grade, ultimately teaching her that she wanted to have a career in music. That same year, she taught herself how to play guitar, and she has increased her voice’s range, maturity, power, and potential. She began writing songs and performed them to anyone who would listen. Alesa has been performing at any event possible. At age 13, she was the youngest artist to perform on the Hysteria on the High Seas cruise for over 1,000 music fans, becoming a “legend” on the ship, and was even invited to perform at multiple events on the ship by her long lasting impression on those who heard. She also performed an original song at her school’s first talent show, receiving a standing ovation and her entire school’s support. By age 17, she had performed onstage with acclaimed artists such as Last In Line, and was hired by a local Colorado band by the name of Ironbound where she now sings covers of classic 80s rock and metal. She opened for Lita Ford for her very first show in front of a packed audience of over 600 people, and Ironbound has no plans to stop any time soon. She is also very enveloped in art and photography. She focuses her 2D skills on her favourite celebrities, drawing them in graphite. She is quite enthusiastic about photography, snapping photos of concerts, nature, pets and people. |
